Prior to her return to the roster, Witch made a cameo in Puyo Puyo 7.

In that game she is given a unique design, different from her classic look and new her standard design from 20th Anniversary onwards.

A large amount of Puyo Puyo Quest Arcade’s exclusive characters have the distinction of starting out as children and aging up as they level up.

Between Daimadou Senryaku Monogatari, their multiple appearances in JUMP HERO Gaiden and their cameo in Puyo Wars, Arle and Carbuncle have appeared in three strategy games, during Compile’s run.

Arle and Ringo both each had a piece of art in Quest replaced, due to the off-model nature of the originals.

As a result, these two artworks have also not recieved the quality update the games’ other art assets got, through the Super Puyo Puyo Quest renewal.

Lagnus’ design slightly changes between his SEGA appearances.

Quest gives him a cape and more detailed armor for his higher rank cards. PPT2 goes with this design, while Chronicle uses his standard design. Champions uses both, but prioritizes the cape one.

Prior to Sorcery Saga, there was a 2007-2012 comic revival of Madou Monogatari, which goes by the name of Madou Monogatari: Mano & The Mysterious Hat.
