I get the feeling Alex Ross likes The Shadow

I never would’ve imagined these two comics being so close in terms of tone and humor, but-

His true feelings are often unknowable, but The Shadow seems to genuinely enjoy killing criminals or sending them to jail. He’s truly happy doing what he does.

I don’t have anything to add that everyone hasn’t said already. I think Conroy’s role in the Arkham games is pretty underrated. His performance throughout those games is crisp and solid, even with being stuck in a sweaty booth for several hours. RIP.
