My entry to the 63rd CDChallenge: NORSE GODS

I chose Freyja, because of her ability to cry golden tears, which I made into her signature battle move; she pins enemies down, and cries on them to petrify them into golden statues.

If you've noticed, yes, I actually made Tessa shorter than normal proportions. It's how I drew all the other characters.
I feel drawing them... stockier felt more fitting to the games' style.

Here's some of the progress sheets that went into his design. Making the evil cormorants was pretty easy, but finding the right colour scheme for the fisherman was pretty tricky.

I didn't intend to spend all of 2019 drawing Grandia characters but I sure don't regret it.

In fact if at least one person bought the #GrandiaHD Remaster as a result of looking at my work, then it was all worth it.
