The original painting was sold the first time I showed it in public to a lady who fell in love with it at first sight and I’m really pleased the prints seem to be going really well. If you’d like one you can find them on my website

Back at the studio in the woods in Shropshire I played with the sketch a bit on the iPad to polish it up. Then drew the sketch out onto a canvas and started painting, it just seemed to flow and I got lost in the process for a while. The dragon changed colour a
coiled around its curving slopes with its eye open looking at me in a kind and loving way.
On my way walking back down the Tor, this painting and all its fairies popped into my head fully formed and as soon as I got back to where I was staying I got my iPad out and scribbled
