Recently finished commission of #Sinon from Sword Art Online! Ever since I first started seeing this cosplay around cons I knew I needed to get some art done of her - that was back in 2015 and I’m just now getting to it. So I’m still on brand in that department -.- ha

my direction was to make Samus more weary and battle hardened than she was normally portrayed. One of my favorite jobs of that year! (And my first time using Procreate)

Fun fact- for the cloud effect, I took a picture of Arctic sea ice, warped it with the perspective transform tool, flipped it upside down, set it to a transparency layer filter that would turn it reddish against the already red sky (cont.)
