@skullsideart So relatable! I used to paint portraits and stuff but then had to switch to anime style because of the lack of traction online. It’s honestly irritating to see people say “omg you should go back to realism!” Like, now you care? Anyway, ur work is amazing both ways!
@Kamaniki They are definitely overpainting I think but you can tell the difference between older works and newer ones here
The older piece has sharper lines on the face and not as high contrast on the clothing. No doubt this artist is skilled, but there’s def something off.
