It took me *THIS* long to realize that Technician ranks did not go beyond Third Grade. This is what I get for typing too fast... again.

Some trivia:
1. The 11th Airborne Division is nicknamed the 'Angels', referencing their unit patch.
2. The 11th was the only US division-sized airborne unit in the Pacific. The theater did have smaller airborne units though, like the independent 503rd PIR.

@tiannya_ Rampaging Reimu was one of my favorite Touhou fan animations from back in the day. Seeing it revived with big ol' Touhou fan Fubuki just brings it full circle.

1. The unit is known by the nickname 'Sky Dragons'.
2. Allied forces started pushing back the Germans and regaining lost ground in the Ardennes on 28 December.

I drew Kaichou as a 1st lieutenant in the 506th PIR, 101st Airborne Division, XVIII Airborne Corps during the Ardennes Offensive. XVIII Airborne Corps oversaw airborne forces defending the Ardennes throughout the battle.

I drew Watame as a Technician Fourth Grade medic in the 82nd Airborne Division's 325th Glider Infantry Regiment during Operation Overlord's Mission Hackensack (7 June 1944). The 325th delivered vital supplies to help sustain the 82nd during this time.
