Floating Star Witch, this is nearly complete (there's obvi some fix up bits) but I'm gonna sleep on it and see how I feel about the swoopy lines tomorrow. For right now, I am fond of them swoopy lines.
WIP of a star witch. Mostly because I'm trying to wrap my head around this incandescent blue lighting I've been seeing around town. I need to practice it.
And this doesn't cover an important phase, when I learned digital painting. I learned how by *completely* missing the mark on cute magical anthro cats. I made a horror story instead. Complete accident
It was a "this was a failure but I learned so much from it, I'm it's only fan"
in the meantime, people doing that old/middle/new thing and it's kind of fun so
-2004 (portfolio to get into my program)/2012ish?(post college)/2019-
I went from strictly analog to mostly digital. Still like traditional a whole lot though.
Gonna start a fanart friday stream in a few, in honor of women's day we're doing a sailor moon roulette--gonna spin that wheel and see who it'll be https://t.co/8wN24kCyB5
AndI almost forgot, polished up this boy, since if you wanna practice grimdark lighting, this show was the most grimdark kid's show? Unfortunately, when it's zoomed out you loose the nuances it has up close, which is why you shouldn't spend half your time on eyes. #yugioh
Today was all about lighting, so we did some lighting exploration of a B+W photo. Really digging green and turquoise. That one was an accident.
