What's with this recent trend of using chromatic aberration in art lately? It causes my eyes physical discomfort to look at. Dx;

I mean, it's considered an undesirable defect in pro photography... so seeing it in video games and art is a bit uh 🤔

My first half of the decade was wonderfully productive artwise, then a multitude of bad factors hitting at once utterly -shattered- me (I'm still picking up the pieces to this day). I want to limp back onto the art train and make a comeback. Thank you all for sticking with me.
I'm a bit dismayed at how Twitter has become the go-to place for posting art these days. Twitter absolutely *butchers* image quality by loading up the art with JPEG compression artifacts. Check out this comparison.
