Beyond excited to be hosting the #HyperForce reunion panel at @PowerMorphicon this weekend. I've got some notes already, but... anything in particular you'd like to hear about?
MMPR #48
Parrott/Di Nicuolo/Baiamonte/Ranalli/Dukeshire
Good fight scenes are the emotional made physical. This is a good fight scene.
MMPR #23
Higgins/Scharf/Lafuente/Dukeshire
Finster is trapped inside the panel borders until he opens a portal, which breaks through them.
Comics are good.
MMPR #15
Higgins/Bayliss/Dukeshire
Bayliss knocks this entire issue out of the park (go back and re-read it - it's /gorgeous/) - but I have to give it to this magnificent Thunderzords panel.
MMPR #4
Higgins/Prasetya/Herms/Dukeshire
It's the end of the first arc, the monster's dead... and then the Rangers argue, the crystal triggers, it destroys the Command Center, and something comes through. This is a new sort of Power Rangers story, and it's just getting started.
GO GO #25
Parrott/Grace/Mortarino/Angulo/Dukeshire
If it's a licensor restriction that the Power Rangers aren't allowed to say "hell", teleporting someone for exactly long enough to skip the "h" is a wonderful loophole.
GO GO BACK TO SCHOOL
Bennett/Charm/Kong/Lam/Tau/Lafuente/Dukeshire
The beauty of anthologies: being able to showcase art styles that wouldn't necessarily work on the book month-to-month. A shame there's not more room in the schedule for them.
GO GO #9
Parrott/Mora/Angulo/Dukeshire
What a simple, effective way to make it clear that these are the same person - and a hell of a hero shot as well. (@ThatRyanParrott, did you script that these were the same shot?)
Also: both of these designs absolutely rule.
