HOLOCRONS (short for holographic chronicle) were organic crystal-lattice devices which stored phenomenal quantities of data. Most holocrons were shaped like polyhedra. Their first mention was in the Dark Empire comic series, by Tom Veitch, who invented the idea of holocrons.

Did you know? TUSKEN LANGUAGE has no written form & relies on oral tradition. Sound designer Ben Burtt actually fashioned it from donkey brays. Protocol droids could be properly equipped with a Tusken language pack for fluency. Tusken language consisted mostly of consonants.
KORRAN HORN a great character created by Michael A. Stackpole is one of the 2 main protagonists in the X-wing series, he was a Corellian Rogue Squadron ace & New Republic hero, & later a Jedi Master of the New Jedi Order. SW EU (now Legends) is full of great characters like him!
