Here are two NPCs from my D&D campaign, now being moved into my novel!

Captain Althalos Ashmore, known as 'Ash', is a gentle and quietly-spoken man - he doesn't have much of a commanding presence but is respected among his crew for putting their needs first

Here's the Sentinel! A so-far-unplayed D&D character, a reborn human paladin who died in battle for his king and country, only for said king to bring him back to life to continue his duty. But he didn't come back quite... right, and remembers very little, including his own name

Here's Brandi! Disaster lesbian dwarf ranger who I played in a one-shot where she got cursed by an aboleth, and also thought it was appropriate behaviour to leave a skull on a table in an inn. Now she's been ported into my novel where she becomes Tarron's surprise best friend

Here's River, my orc barbarian from a previous Rime of the Frostmaiden campaign! A large but gentle presence, and part of a nomadic tribe, River found herself under a curse that was slowly turning her into a bear and was on a journey to find a cure and return home to her wife

This is Kit! Another previous D&D character, Kit is a rogue who was treated badly by his parents and is physically weak due to ill health, on a journey to prove his own worth and find his missing uncle. He's extremely naïve and knows little of the world, but has a heart of gold
