Like children
at the #whimsy
of late summer nights
with no curfews,
so too are we,
giddy to stay up
past bedtimes,
our lips breaking rules,
where we learn
each other
& tides
& birth
& death
& seasons
& desires
& rain,
our conversations
kissed by the moon. #writingromancelines
We sipped
on coffee
the way
we sipped
on each other,
addicts
to the rush
of early morning
sunlight dotting
our skin,
lips
searching
the perfect balance
of sweetness
and brine,
sighs strong
and moans
subtle,
honey-like
mouthfeel
heavy
on our tongues.
