Yes there was a lot of early development, designs that showed Cameron what he *didn't* want! He liked the two sketches here but they still didn't work, his note here was that he wanted to see the lift engines clearly and have them visually articulate between VTOL and cruise... https://t.co/QuOmJpqaoJ
