so i went back to the drawing board and added "scowling" which seemed to do the trick. the last one is the immediate progenitor of the saint of the pissed off, who i had to push a little further because the limbs weren't developed enough and the pose was muddy

you can see further development of the punk features and the wings, but it ultimately proved unsatisfactory - his face just wasn't convincingly angry enough!

he didnt seem angry enough so i made him start screaming. the last picture is the one that i saw and went "oh my god this is so metal", but it devolved a little bit when upscaled. and didn't have a halo.
