The tenets of magic

The almond silence of your visions
Teases my lips with its cool fingertips
Until I speak you into existence.
When life shatters you to pieces,
I let you be reborn in my poetry.

Maybe I was here to put the pieces of your fractured soul together, so you could feel again.

Magic was just another word before your beauty awakened my senses. I believe in it now.
