since is it only a color sketch I kind of merge things on the go, the main goal is to plan out colors, lighting, and mood

detailing will be easy as I already worked out the overall look of the painting

it's a bit like thumbnailing

Next I'm only focusing on designing the light to add volume - bright values are really great focal points & making the picture more interesting to look at

I don't calculate light, I think of them as shapes & make sure it follows the form

I think I have finally found a way to draw faster :D
It's nice to set up the color and mood first
