Sometimes I wish I could see how some of the characters who appeared after season 2, would look like in the early season 1 art style.

The story of Gintama movie 2, “Gintama: Kanketsu-hen: Yorozuya Yo Eien Nare”, was written from a perspective of it being the last chapter of the series, according to Sorachi.
He added that this is generally his mindset whenever writing long story arcs.
