it's interesting how tiny details like a wider darker circle around the eyes or smaller pupils can make a cartoon face way more expressive. i call this the impending doom face

much more expressive. these are from ski ya wouldn't wanna be ya, it was like in a weird stage where the show was transitioning from flash to toonboom so the animation looked newer but it was still the old character designs

this is not the face of somebody whose ass just melted.

newer happy tree friends episodes might have better quality animation but it looks like shit compared to the funny expressions of the older episodes
