More great drawing from Yas... I can't get enough of this series, its so beautiful!
Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, uncredited, doing magic one again. This particular episode reminds me A LOT of ep.33 of Daitarn 3, its absolutely high quality and full of gag humor as well. Line weight wise, its just as thin as ep. 33 of Daitarn was, and is full of melodrama.
Tominori Kogawa far left & upper right, and Toshihiro Hirano copying the settei in a defacto manner. Kogawa's lines are a bit rounder this time, and he carries over some of Yas' ethos - perhaps Yas did part of the AD. There is no way of telling as they all went under pseudonyms.
Yoshinori Kanada stepped into the studio a few times for these key shots
Best example I can give, but Yas more than likely also drew this scene as well. The nose he uses for Yuki Mori at the end of Farewell to Yamato has been updated on a design for this singular character, who is Leiji-inspired. I don't believe she was designed by Ninomiya, however.
I recently archived and cleaned up Yoshikazu Yasuhiko's original concept watercolors for Super Atragon! Included are also some of Makoto Kobayashi's original mechanical designs. To view the archive, please visit the links below.
