Bandai displayed a prototype 5" Rita figure at Toy Fair in February 1994. It never entered production or released.

In the early days of conceptualizing the look of the Zyuranger suits in 1991, Katsushi Murakami included rhombus elements throughout the body, arms and legs of the Rangers, inspired by the fangs of dinosaurs. These would evolve into the shapes seen on the gloves, boots and torso.

Katsushi Murakami's 1993 concept for Kakuranger's Beast General Fighter Battle Saruder (Mighty Morphin Alien Ranger's Red Battle Borg) evolved through iterations. Some elements of its design made their way into the Super Stealth Beast God Saruder (Red Ape Ninjazord).

When MMPR started filming in 1993, the props team didn't have access to all of the original Zyuranger props. This meant that they had to reproduce some of them from scratch.

This is the original MMPR Power Daggers used in "Teamwork" and "Mighty Morphin Mutants".
