I was kind of waiting for another portfolio day to share these for real but I have a bunch of small tweaks I've been doing on older files in colors and finishing the edges better for print/portfolio purposes so night-twitter gets to see these a bit early now that they're done

I have one more of these scenes to hopefully get done tonight before the end of the year, because I can't wait to show y'all more.

I started revisiting these ideas and characters to have free portfolio content but it became something I've really enjoyed creating and sharing with everyone. I'm so thankful to have found people who encourage this, you guys are great.

My favorite thing I did this year was making the time to do some personal work within the fantasy setting I co-created, Valecny.

Looking back, I wish I'd made the leap to working with original content sooner now that I know how much I can build in just one year.

These are getting a bit out of hand on length and unfortunately the full version required folks to zoom, but I liked the progression of the images when it's unbroken like this

#Artof2019 was a big step up in the complexity of pieces as I built my portfolio & I'm so grateful to help I received over the year taking everything to this point. Success doesnt always look like what you expect & looking back, having so much time for personal pieces was a gift.

Saved a file wrong and now I can't stop playing with lowering the settings on my paintings down to where they look like they belong in old pc games

Another Valecny scene. These simpler ideas are a great way to experiment with lighting and color ideas without committing to rendered stuff
