Saw these startling illustrations just now on Retro Sci-fi Insta. Did some digging…they were published in 1895 in a German physiotherapy/ gynaecology manual by Thure Brant. They look like alien abduction depictions…over 60 yes before alien abduction became ‘a thing’.

UFO Abduction Art, 1974.
At Aveley, Essex, UK, John and Susan Day were abducted, with their child and their car. While aboard the UFO they claims to have undergone a physical examination by these aliens.
This might be controversial, but I found ‘The Amityville Horror’ (1979) to be more scary than ‘Poltergeist’ (1982)…and still do.
Bummer. Just got invited to a special press event for upcoming horror video game The Quarry...but I can't make it that day. Dagnabbit! Game looks pretty cool though. Coming out on 10th June from 2K.
