I am struck by the news we have had in the last few weeks of a number of our car producers making people redundant as they have to face a very unsure time.

I have been a huge fan of the original Aston Martin DBS/V8 for as long as I can remember - and any one of the variants would be on my ‘to own’ list. They were a staple product of a company going through funding crisis after funding crisis and multiple ownership changes.
