These are the cast of some popular non-romance shonen series. Just accept the fact that ugly people are a rarity in fiction. Besides, who'd reject eyecandy

For all my complaints about toxic MLs in BL manhwas, please know they don’t apply to mafia series.

I just remembered Lookism is getting an anime.
Wouldn’t say it’s amazing but if you’re looking for some “bromance”, it has got you covered.
It’s like one of those series where the creator wants to write MLM so bad but the publisher’s putting a gun to their head so they can’t.

My problem with shonen is that they think this is how 27 yo looks 😭😭

Two other series I really enjoy.
The Story of Saiunkoku is about a girl trying to become the first female scholar.
Isabella Bird in Wonderland is based on the real life explorer & tells her story in Japan.

My favorite thing in manga are storites about women pursuing a career in a field that's tradditionally exclusively for men at that time in history. One of these is about the first female historian, one is an inspiring artist, one's a detective & the final one is a female barber.

Is it wrong of me to say I think Kokushibo is hot. His eyes freak some people out but he's a demon, he's supposed to look creepy
My monster-fucker agenda is that monsters should look like monsters or have some odd features to them, not some pretty boy who look completely human
