Really charming, breezy read about a group of girls in their final years of high school finding comfort and solace in the constant of cooking and sharing food together.

Just an absolute delight.

Easily one of the best books of the year.

I know there's legions of folks who probably dig this kinda thing, but this has to be one of the most depressing images of comics art I've seen lol.

This week has made me realize that almost nobody remembers Bendis, the creator and originator of Marvel's Illuminati team, doing several event comics chronicling his own DC iteration of the eclectic team(s) in the shadows that deals with big sprawling shit.

Really love how Travis Lanham chooses to depict the back and forth shifts between languages here with the font-difference.

No <> used to denote it.

Makes it much more natural, and flows cleaner both on page and in your head, as you hear it without those brief breaks/pauses.
