As much as Avril tries to avoid it, her temporary team starts to mean something to her.
Dark secrets begin to be unearthed, traumas rear their ugly heads, and maybe, just maybe they realise that fighting literal AND figurative darkness is easier when you have people by your side.

In this hostile world, courier Avril prefers to go it alone. People are not to be trusted.
But when she finds herself getting hunted by cults and relentless abominations alike, she's forced to team up with a mysterious red-eyed boy, and a stoic mercenary.

A cataclysmic event called the 'the Fall' caused much of the population to suddenly drop dead, and left survivors with a changed world. A hellscape infested with monsters, and blood magic.
