I was googling botanical art and I ran across this printmaker named Mabel Royds. She was an English artist, born in 1874, who won a scholarship to London's Royal Academy at 15. I can't get over this art 😍 The composition is amazing, and she individually painted each print block.

In conclusion: there are pigeons in your city because people put them there, and then most of the people forgot why. Now pigeons do their best to survive, and they do a pretty good job: they smooch, forage, raise kids, and feed cool predators.
