This was a special commission as it was a memorial piece for an old friend. Shirsha was a lovely person and it was an honor to make something to remember them by 💖

I made a few copies of Wishes that are up for sale in my shop now! This was kind of my first short picture book project a few years ago set to a lovely poem and I am still really fond of it.

These are the sketches I did to refamiliarize myself with Wren and Jace! Wren is an adventure seeking sailor with her head in the clouds and Jace is a moody hermit mermaid with trust issues. (They are in love.)
