9. one of the greatest girlbosses of all time. girlboss icon. i love how she slowly gets broken down over the course of umineko ESPECIALLY in ep 3 and 8, with so many interesting layers to her and reasons as to why she is the way she is. queen shit quite frankly

8. MARIA. i love her so so much, she embodies a lot of common tropes but the way they’re presented through her are so refreshing and i love the commentary she provides on these tropes, she’s one of the strongest characters in umineko and i love her. daughter :)

6. BATTLER MY BESTIE literally one of the best fucking protagonists in ANY form of media. his development is fucking stunning, his journey is written so beautifully. fucking hell I Love This Guy

3. my favorite of the moms…i ended up really loving natsuhi a lot and even found myself resonating with her unexpectedly, i love her motivation and her backstory, her relationships with jessica and the ushiromiya siblings…just. natsuhi :)
