i wanted a copyright-free giygas for n/a's genesis alt so heres a giygas study. giygas is just generally an impressive painting piece gotta say

at the start, we had the final boss battle done. yeps, that was the first thing.
later then people were thinking about the full thing, without making it too big. so we experimented with the concepts of menu-based progress, but ultimately we chose RPG format (for some reason...?

the concept of Mixalot was that, with this character, i was to show the world what a REAL mixel is.
his mechanic was that all of his moves are a multihit, and if you hit all hits, his whirlpool projectile would be strengthened once.
he is also a fish under the hat.

Verdi/Verdigris (green harpy-bunny) was to have multiple jumps like wrastor, but jumps beyond 2nd jump is like an "air-dash", which gives you velocity in the direction you are holding.
i don't think i had much planned beyond this, though.

I've also, at one point, started to want to make a swordfighter named "Zenith" just because i love swords yet i've never made a full sword character.
I've tried to design Zenith like 8 times by now (and am still trying to!) but never settled on a satisfying design
