Ancient beasts are the largest size class of creature that exist in the dragon mecha setting. Living relics of a long-lost age, they are all individual creatures with their own behaviours and motives..and also incredibly large! Drifting Sun is an average size for an ancient.

More setting work. When darkness bubbles from the world veins or overflows somehow, it can create a wellspring that engenders a chaotic mass of life mashing together. Similar to toxic jungles from Nausicaa. Dark knights + dragons can heal from light-element wounds in these pools.

Non-knight characters! Forgot to put this up yesterday. Most if not all people wear masks of some kind, even if reasons/style/decoration varies from culture to culture. Unmasking is considered a sign of trust + closeness. It's polite to look away if someone's mask is knocked off.

I've been going pretty buckwild on just making dark dragons and their pilots so here's a light dragon and THEIR knight pilot. A pair of (self-described) objective arbiters, primed to deal out judgement, vengeance and punishment in order to save others from falling into darkness.

Style/colouring experiment. I wanted to make the mood deliberately harsh without relying entirely on the character's expression/body language to do so.
