Inktober day 28: Ride. I met "Mary Poppins" in a Christmas eve TV transmission, and I became obsessed. The book written by P. L. Travers took a long time to be published in Brazil, and now we also have "Mary Poppins Returns", thanks to the newest movie!
Inktober day 22: Ghost. (I had fun with this one!) I met "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow", by Washington Irving, thanks to Tim Burton's movie, then I met Disney's version before putting my hands in the book. This drawing is also a tribute to Brazilian legend of the Headless Mule!
Inktober day 20: Tread. (Tomorrow will be 2 posts as well) Ghibli showed me one of the best fantasy sagas I've ever read: "Howl's Moving Castle", by Diana Wynne Jones. I got the scene from the movie (with Howl and Sophie as bunnies) bc both pieces are wonderful and I love them.
Inktober day 15: Legend. So... why not the legend of King Arthur? Why not as told by women? "The Mists of Avalon" by Marion Zimmer Bradley was my 1st contact with fantasy literature and it deserves to be remembered! Starring Morgaine as a swan as a tribute to the original cover.
Inktober day 11: Snow. Bet y'all saw this coming, huh? Like day 1 asked for LOTR, this day begged for "Game of Thrones", by George R. R. Martin, starring the Night King as an iguana.
Last day of my Good Omens week: chibi! I was dying do draw some chibis of them, so I revisited some pieces posted during this week, including genderbender versions (I personally love fem!Aziraphale) and tattoo/ flower shop AU (which, btw, got an amazing response from you guys!)
