Today is the birthday of two Sabbath albums:
Vol 4: 25 Sep 1972 (48)
Technical Ecstasy: 25 Sep 1976 (44) - UK Release: 8 Oct
My all time fav Mk I Sab track comes from Vol 4: "Wheels of Confusion". Also saw Sabbath do Rock & Roll Doctor live on the Born Again tour with Ian. :)
Happy 37th to one of the best debut albums by any band, Dio's "Holy Diver", originally released 25 May 1983.
If you're reading this, you don't need me to tell you how great this is. Go play it.
Happy 13th to Ozzy's 10th album, "Black Rain", released 22 May 2007. I know a lot don't like his newer albums, but I do.
Particularly like "I Don't Wanna Stop", "11 Silver", "Civilize the Universe", and especially "Trap Door" - one of my fav overall Ozzy tracks.
It's a metal anniversary day - both of these albums turn 40 today, having been released 14 Apr, 1980. They are:
@IronMaiden album #1
@JudasPriest's British Steel
"Iron Maiden's gonna get ya.. Breakin' the Law!"
An EPIC day back in 1980, that was.
Turning 25 today is @BlackSabbath’s "Cross Purposes". Originally released Jan 31, 1994. This was my fav of the Martin era albums (cuz Geezer!)
Saw ‘em twice on this tour - was amazing!
Check out the track "What's the Use?" - Japanese only CD track. Criminal more don’t know it!
It’s @BlackSabbath Anniversary day! Two albums have birthdays.
Technical Ecstasy turns 41 (Sep 25, 1976)
