Baragaki (Thorny) is amazing and I wish more people saw that. Gintama loves introducing new characters as a way to parallel and develop the main cast more. In this case Tetsunosuke shares circumstances we never knew about Hijikata. I love Hijikata more after remembering this arc—

I’m so happy more people are watching/reading Sket Dance. 😍
To those who haven’t tried it, it has the same format as Gintama. Odd jobbers who help people. Mostly a comedy but the character development is amazing. I like to call Sket Dance “Gintama’s younger half brother”
