I just recently realized how pretty lilacs were, also they symbolize "old love" sooooo

I just realized my art looks much better when I start with the BG (improving helped too)

Pic 1: 1 year ago, 6-7 hrs, no color references, just figure and furniture refs; looks washed-out

Pic 2: 2 days ago, 2.5 hrs, only BG reference used. Colors brighter, figures fit better

if I had to see this because of youtube rec placement all of you do too
