I've mentioned this before, but Isolf and Kidai were very unplanned additions to Verse but they've totally become the pulse of the people. How their relationship develops with each other and with other characters is really special!

As Ophelia and Azar gain more responsibility (whether they are seeking it or not) their roles as leaders and mentors change. And at the back of Book 2 we get to learn more about their past in a short story. 👀

Magdalena is the resident "scholar" and questionable decision-maker. The other one is Simone who was name-dropped previously, but you'll get to learn more about her in Book 2!

Fife is up next! His arc in the second book was probably one of my favourite things to write and made me pretty emotional about not seeing/seeing family in 2020/21.

VERSE Book 2 is out June 28th, so I'm going to do a thread of characters new and old to the series over the next few days!

First up is Neitya. She's brave and quite headstrong about everything, but that's put to the test as she learns more about who she really is.

Anyway, re-visiting places in Verse book 3.

thinking about ~her~ (Magdalena from Verse). Really excited for everyone to see her in book 2, because she is both extremely frustrating and sympathetic.

hmm...periodic reminder I have a mailing list for art and comic updates. It hasn't been updated in a bit because I'm working away on stuff I can't show yet. But it's the best way to not miss things when I eventually share them.
