Patrick Tatopoulos's Godzilla (1998) is a dope-ass design that I genuinely believe is under-appreciated and deserves more love ❤️
If you're feeling the beautiful underwater vibes from Avatar: The Way of Water then I really reccomend these chill marine exploration games: Ocean Rift, Beyond Blue, Koral, and my favourite - Abzu. Just wonderfully calm dream-like waves to ease your stress away! 💙
love that the shark genre now is literally just "okay how much more ridiculous can we get" with each new movie - these are just some that were released in 2022 alone 😱😅
@tyvianterror Yess! I'm so so tempted at getting one but can't decide from these ones (the last image is from the concept art book)
@KaijuPictures love the connections to Hindu mythology in the MonsterVerse (Vishnu kaiju from the teaser trailer, quoting from Bhagavad Gita) but yeah, there's a variety of diverse creatures they could be inspired from (pics are various creatrues from Indian myth: Kirtimukha, Makara & Vritra)
the film leans heavily into the style & aesthetic of Legendary's MonsterVerse with there being some clear similarities especially with Kong, maybe they'll do a crossover one day as the film slots in perfectly within the universe imo - they were definitely inspired by them
since we're currently all appreciating Olivia Cooke (as you should!) & it's spooky season, here's a few cool horror/thriller things she's been in that's perfect for watching this month: The Secret of Crickley Hall (2012), Ouija (2014), The Quiet Ones (2014) & Thoroughbreds (2017)
@Saibashinreiart Oh for sure, i can totally reccomend his films Nightbreed (Micheal Doherty is directing a new tv series of it), & Candyman which you've probably most likely seen as it's more famous (he wrote the short story). There's also Rawhead Rex, which is dated & silly but still jokes
i feel if they wanted to go with cgi then a stylised take would've worked better in this sense (credit: Nikolay Mochkin IG: @elliejart) https://t.co/CTAHxb9KnI
