Kanzashi (簪)

A type of long hairpin. It is said in ancient Japan that if someone gives a hairpin to someone, it means that they are proposing marriage to spend the rest of their lifes together.

Goldfish (kingyo, 金魚), also the subject of this collab.

Goldfish symbolises good fortune. Not to mention that the goldfish itself can range from red to yellow, which are auspicious colours which stands for good luck.

Hamaya (破魔矢)

'Demon-breaking arrow' is the literal meaning.
It's given as a lucky charm during the Japanese New Year.

Ema (絵馬)

The piece of wooden plague. It is used to communicate wishes to the gods and it is usually hung at Shinto shrines in Japan.

Btw, these are different Muirne - one is fanart of Maon's OC, and one is a variation of Muirne for my comic that um... Think of it as a parallel universe where this Muirne knows about her creator and will diss Maon at every given moment but deep down still cares about her... 🥺
