80.— Mo
«🌵 netflix •🌷 comedy drama •🌻 3.5/5 »
at first, it gave me big "ramy" vibes (with immigrant muslim background living in america). turns out, the story of mo is even sadder and more difficult than ramy.
oh also, who said, maria and mohammed can't be together?😆
78.— Under The Banner of Heaven
«🌵 fx on hulu/disney+ •🌷 crime drama •🌻 3/5 »
slowburn but worth all the wait.
garfield's acting performance – as detective who searched for answer of murder of a mormont woman & her baby until it challenged his own faith, were amazing!
Randomly reading GoT graphic book & realised what's killed the mother direwolf in s01e01 was a stag's antler. it was like foreshadowing the Ned's death (and, Starks mass slaughter).
it's because Joeffrey. And he was a (fake) Baratheon.
Both houses sigil are a direwolf and a stag
77.— Paper Girls
«🌵 prime video •🌷 teen sci-fi, comic book-based •🌻 4/5 »
first they were just paper girls, a minute later, they travelled through time!
the show slightly different w/ the book but still nailed it. i liked how characters were examined thoroughly in the show
I need more anime movies retelling classic fairy tales in modern world & upbringing current issues we've all been through w/ beautiful animation & magnetic songs in it.
Belle, which an allegory of Beauty and the Beast.
Bubble, allegory of The Little Mermaid. #bubbleanime #belle
63.— The Boys: Diabolical
«🌵 prime video •🌷 animated anthology •🌻 3/5 »

and ofc blood splatters still included. even more!
