My recent commission! 💙 This is the newer style that I made!

My references has a very "pencil like" texture. Like something you draw manually with pencil color. I like that BUT I prefer flat color more! My older style is already have a lot of rendering, I don't want to have that in this style

I also use different techniques of coloring. Still keeping the "organic" texture from the references, but turn it into digital (look at how I did the blush).

Try to find something that's similar but diverse. Don't only referencing the same artist. Look for other art too that also has the same vibe to one another.
