Wanted to try something so I kept it simple;
Xea's way of drawing (?) tho more specifically the eye coloring (simplified)
Tone curve (coz I've almost never played around with it)
Reverse linear coloring (this was drawn without sketch so I used a lighter color from the start)

Gave up for, around 10 seconds.

Still feel incompetent tho.

Putting the newfound fav brush to good use *sips tea

Background looks pretty barren, but tis not my main focus this time anyway.

I really really really really love this brush (brushes but mostly use one) the flowers ended up looking vintage (is that the right word?) and I love it >w<

Something I felt like doing. Tbh other than LAM-sensei's style, I did want to try Xeapher's, Opal's, WMAAP (webtoon)'s eye coloring style, but maybe that's for another time.

Overlay used grass brush. Wanna to try lace and scales and glitter next time.

Backgrounds have always been a struggle to draw, the bane of my drawing career tbh. But I'm proud of it so I'mma include it. At some points it looks crappy to me, but I'm not gonna touch it anymore hissss--

Anyways, another commission done! Time to... nap.
