Rewarding myself this morning with quick, messy illustrations for my short story. 😁

New WIP! Whilst drawing my last dancing picture, I came across a ref that I really wanted to turn into That Scene from KING OF ATTOLIA. Trying to reconcile that it doesn’t look exactly like I imagined, but pretty happy w/ the movement and poses so far.

Done? Maybe? Unless I decide to add minimalist background.

I admit, I finished this primarily so that I could have BOTH of these characters in my header image. 😅

@jasperthecrab Thank you for this thread! 😊 I’m a writer and hobby artist in my 30s who loves to draw OCs. I just started using Procreate in June, and I still have a lot to learn!

I kept messing with it.

Today I drew some characters from my vaguely Russian/Ottoman Empire -inspired political fantasy--roughly a million years from the point in the story I'm currently working on, naturally.

I made a me.

I'm a bit behind, but here's Day 2 of #OneWeekPortrait. Let's see if I can knock out Day 3 now too....
