In about a week or two, I had frantically sketched out the first 10-12 pages.
Almost immediately, I felt better. Just the act of translating how I felt into visuals was SO incredibly therapeutic and still is.
Eventually, that led me to sketching out ideas for a comic based on my "Banishment" series. Banishment had originally come from a traumatic time in my life and it felt like I needed to return to it in a way, so I thought I would explore what led up to the initial illustrations.
