Weather Report's character design has really grown on me over the years.

When I first read through Stone Ocean I thought he looked ridiculous. But every time I revisit the part, I appreciate his look a bit more.

Now I would say he has my favorite design in part 6.

@caliceal Problem is that trying to maintain this specific style through animation would be insanely difficult if not impossible. Which means it's much better drawn than animated.

Although that being said I still am a big fan of how Araki drew faces and proportions in this timeframe.

@caliceal Im more impartial to the style found in Volumes 7-11. Araki really liked drawing close ups alongside detailing everything with brush strokes and heavy shading.

Its got this rough and dirty look to it which ties into the genre well.
