Ah yes, one of the most sleeper picks in all of Smash speculation. Super Monkey Ball is a historic series that helped bridge the relationship between Sega and Nintendo. The series is seeing a big comeback and is getting a new entry on Switch this year and did in 2019 also

The mad doctor still has a shot to get in, as Sonic games will basically always be relevant, even if the next release will be an enhanced port of Colors. Definitely something Nintendo would want to promote, Sonic games on Nintendo systems still do really well.
