@s_afari_al @Alaingruetter When assembling a palette it can be useful to think about a 'colour ramp' where you arrange you palette from light to dark. Note how in this piece I tend to use cooler colours as my palette shifts into darker tones.

Sword and sorcery is an undervalued genre these days, and Protector is a fresh dip back into an exciting setting of adventure in the ruins of an ancient world. The premise is simply established and feels compelling because every character has skin in the game.

This is a post-antropocene setting. Humans still appear to be the dominant megafauna but have been thrown back into some mix of iron-age and late-medieval technology. Northern tribes have descended south and now control the Great Lakes region.
