“Mario Wings to the Sky!”

My tribute to Super Mario 64. I tried my best to evoke that distinct Nintendo 64 low-poly aesthetic while still stylizing it in my own way. So hopefully I landed somewhere in the middle 😓.

Also, two days after #MAR10Day but oh well.

Happy 50th Anniversary to Godzilla vs Gigan. You are by no means a perfect film but you’ve certainly got personality. I can’t think of any other movie where the plot revolves around a cockroach alien invasion being thwarted by a group of hippies and a nuclear dinosaur.

Yeah no chance I’m finishing that 64 print today so you’ll have to settle for some other Mario-related work I’ve done this year. Happy Mar10 Day!
