Looking back at the first chapter cover for Gardener and feeling really happy that it still holds up three years later when I finished all of artwork for the book

Nearly finished with Gardener and I dug up this old version of Jacob to compare with how he ended up in the actual book. I think he did wear that suit but by the time the book shows him it’s long since been ruined by the pink goo

The three biggest dummies in Gardener naturally all team up towards the end of the book (only 12 pages left!)
