@Hydreibagel @Zakor1138 Examples of such here, the first picture is Mario in Sonic's world, the images following are fan characters by one of the comic's artists.
@TGCritique Similarly with Amy as well, I don't know a soul who ever claimed to prefer her classic design prior to Mania. It's only recently Amy's classic look has become admired alongside Sonic, but even then this preference is far from aggressive like Sonic.
@TGCritique Surprisingly, all of this controversy has always been just Sonic.
I've never heard of anybody take issue with the way Knuckles looked going to Adventure, and especially not Eggman. Most people even agree modern Eggman is a total improvement over the original.
@CSwizzle_Dizzle Several of them really are so different than their early versions. I'm already used to Scourge, but Miles is the most drastic one imo, it's hilarious to me that these are the same character apparently.
@nzar3k I'll cherish these few months the rest of my life
The first remake was cancelled because it was a secondary team at Sega working on it so that's why they're gonna do it themselves, r-right...?
Right?
Due to the Archie Comics never having a real reboot until much later, Charmy maintained his classic era age of 16 years old. This was somewhat rectified in a story where Eggman partially sucked the life out of Charmy, resulting in permanent brain damage to make him more childish.
@saetta06 Each version had an exclusive costume based on an Ubisoft IP; Avelina is a Barbara skin for the Wii U version, Splinter Ray is for the Xbox 360 version, the Vita version has two costumes, being Ray of Persia and Globcell.
